ABOUT THE SHOW

Julius Caesar is a fast-paced political thriller about power, ambition, and betrayal. As Rome teeters on the edge of dictatorship, a group of conspirators assassinates Caesar to save the republic—only to plunge the nation into chaos, questioning whether their noble ends justify violent means. This fresh adaptation streamlines the text for 12 actors. The show will be done as a fully staged reading that will perform at Fisher Theater and tour to venues in central Iowa. WHAT TO PREPARE FOR JULIUS CAESAR
