Theatre and Performing Arts Scholarship information for RETURNING and TRANSFER students.

ISU Theatre and Performing Arts offers many scholarships for returning students.  Apply by February 28 via Iowa State University's One App Scholarship and select your interest in Theatre and Performing Arts Scholarships.

Below are just a few of the scholarships available:

ISU Theatre Academic Excellence Award Funded by the Transforming Liberal Arts and Sciences Theatre Excellence Endowment

Criteria: Open to continuing students majoring in Performing Arts with a GPA of at least 3.5 and a record of academic excellence in both courses within the major and general education curriculum. 

 

ISU Theatre Citizen-Artist Award Funded by the Transforming Liberal Arts and Sciences Theatre Excellence Endowment

Criteria: Open to continuing ISU students with a record of excellence in using the performing arts to build community, citizen-engagement, and radical empathy at Iowa State University and beyond. 

 

ISU Theatre Service Awards Funded by the Transforming Liberal Arts and Sciences Theatre Excellence Endowment

Criteria: Open to continuing ISU students with a record of excellence within the performance/production program.  These awards require a commitment of 5-10 hours per week of ISU Theatre leadership work in one of the following areas: Technical/Shops, Recruitment, Marketing/PR, Outreach, House Management, Actor Coaching, Student Representation.
