ISU Theatre and Performing Arts will hold on campus Scholarship Auditions/Interviews for incoming students (incoming and transfer students) who do not plan to attend the 2018 Iowa Thespian Festival. Below is information for the on campus auditions.
When: Saturday, November 3, 1:00-4:00 pm
Where: Fisher Theater
Performers, please prepare a 2-3 minute audition package which includes two contrasting pieces, one of which may be a song. (An accompanist will be provided.)
Designers and Technicians, please prepare a digital or hard copy portfolio which contains examples of your work.
Dancers, please prepare two 1-2 minute contrasting dance pieces. Mp3 player amplification will be provided.
Everyone will also participate in an informal interview with Theatre and Performing Arts faculty.
Students auditioning on November 3 will also receive two tickets to the ISU Theatre/Opera Studio performance of Orpheus in the Underworld which performs that evening at 7:30 pm.
