Jazz Ensemble 1 will kick off its 2018-19 concert season on October 10 at 7:30 in the Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall. The band will perform standard and contemporary arrangements of compositions by Wayne Shorter, George Gershwin, Manning Sherwin, Fred Sturm, and Rick Margitza, and will also feature the Department of Music and Theatre’s Trombone Professor, Dr. Nathan Dishman, on Paul McKee’s fabulous arrangement of Victor Young’s Beautiful Love.
