April 28-30, 2022

Bees and butterflies and beetles, oh my! Flying, swimming, crawling, and climbing, insects are all around us. In this unique interdisciplinary, multiform, insect extravaganza, some of our smallest Iowa neighbors will be made large through puppetry. This collaboration with the Iowa State Department of Entomology and ISU Jazz Band is an experience for all ages.

April 28, 6:00 pm, ISU Campus Campanile south lawn. Rain date is April 29, 6:00 pm.
April 30, 2:00 pm, AMES UCC with live performance of the ISU Jazz Band. Join us at the Ames Public Library at 10:30 am for a presentation and community puppet building event and then attend the performance with the insect puppets you create! Rain location is Ames United Church of Christ, 217 6th St. Masks are encouraged in the church building.

Free and open to all. Bring blankets or chairs for all outdoor performances.
