The King of Navarre and three of his companions take a vow to devote themselves to study for three years and during that time they will have nothing to do with women. However, when the four men meet the Princess of France and her ladies, the original vow turns to one of eternal love, but is the second vow any more enduring than the first? One of Shakespeare’s earliest comedies.
