The musical is considered one of the most intelligent romantic comedies ever produced with a long list of memorable songs including “I Could Have Danced All Night” and “On the Street Where you Live”. Based on George Bernard Shaw’s play Pygmalion, the plot concerns Professor Higgins who bets that he can take a poor Cockney girl named Eliza Doolittle and transform her into a lady. The results are surprising to both. Produced in conjunction with ISU Music and SOV.
