The Laramie Project
On October 6, 1998, 21-year-old college student Mathew Shepard was murdered in Laramie, Wyoming. This horrific hate crime is the basis for the script based on a collection of more than 200 interviews of citizens of Laramie conducted by the Tectonic Theater Project of New York. The play looks at the events of October 6 and asks “How could it happen?”
October 4, 5, 11, and 12 at 7:30 p.m. and October 6 and 13 at 2 p.m.
