ISU Theatre professors Jane Cox and Patrick Gouran traveled throughout Central Iowa interviewing 12 World War II veterans about their experiences during the war. The result is Heroes Among Us, an original play based on the experiences of these members of “The Greatest Generation.” Their stories are interwoven with ballads and media of the 1940′s. The original work premieres on the 60th anniversary of the attack on Pearl Harbor.
