Chicago

A musical about Chicago in the late 1920′s . . . an era of flamboyant youth and flappers, gangsters and gin, hi-jinks and hilarity. Told through a succession of vaudeville acts, Chicago tells the story of Roxie Hart and Velma Kelly, two murderesses, who seek to capitalize on pre-trial publicity for the sake of acquittal and their stage careers. It’s the time of “All That Jazz.” Produced in cooperation with ISU’s Department of Music.
