Sara Jablon

Sara Jablon is a freelance costume designer and an ISU doctoral student in Apparel, Merchandising, and Design, with a concentration in historical fashion. She designs costumes primarily for theatre and dance, and was based in New York until she returned to Ames for her PhD. She has worked with the Broadway production of The Lion King, for which she designed six award-winning dance presentations for Broadway Cares/Equity Fights AIDS. She has worked with the New York International Fringe Festival, as well as the Ringling Bros. and Barnum & Bailey Circus.  Sara’s MFA is from New York University’s Tisch School of the Arts.
