As an academic advisor for the LAS College I advise students in Biological/Pre-Medical Illustration (BPMI), Biochemistry, English, German, International Studies, and Performing Arts.
I have training in Mental Health First Aid and First Aid CPR/AED.
My degrees are in English (B.A.-ISU 2007) and Interdisciplinary Studies: World Cinema (M.A.-ISU 2010). As a graduate student I taught Globalization and the Human Condition (ANTHR 230) for one semester and Music Rock ‘n’ Roll History (MUSIC 304) for three semesters.
In my other life I am a musician constantly inspired by art, culture, film, and nature and my musical influences/styles range from jazz and soul to folk and rock. I have produced five albums of original music, a holiday album, and hope to produce a children’s album in the near future.
