The Iowa State University Bands would like to invite you to our Cyclone Percussion Academy. 2023 is our eleventh year hosting this camp and it has become a highlight of the summer here on campus.  Past students and staff have helped this event become a resounding success.  Our goals for this event are to provide a great educational experience for all levels of players from beginner to very advanced.  Our instructors are some of the best in the country who have a proven track record of helping students be successful.  In previous years we had the talents of Jon Weber (Professor of Percussion at Michigan State),  Jeff Moore (DCI Hall of Fame Member, long time Caption Head for the Madison Scouts), and Bret Kuhn (Caption Head for Phantom Regiment, former Caption for Cavaliers Drum and Bugle Corps).  The Cyclone Percussion Academy is the perfect place for a beginning student and the student who may wish to try out for a college drumline or drum corps.

Dates:
June 16 & 17, 2023
