The ISU Wind Ensemble will present a free sensory sensitive concert for neurodiverse individuals and their families on Friday, October 17 at 5:30 pm in the Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall in the Simon Estes Music Hall building.

This free concert, featuring fun and lighter selections, music from Disney, and two medleys featuring the music of Miss Rachel, will appeal to all children and their families.

“This is both a children’s concert and a concert for individuals who are neurodiverse and their families,” said Dr. Michael Golemo, Director of Bands. “We will be performing fun and family-friendly music, and we will have the famous Miss Rachel with us  – or at least someone who looks and sounds a lot like her.”

Prior to the concert, beginning at 5:00 pm, children can play a variety of percussion instruments in room 102. The free concert will last approximate 45 minutes.
