Graduation Date: Spring 2025

What music and theatre projects are you working on right now, have coming up or have you recently completed?
I will be performing Mozart's Concerto in G Major for flue with the ISU Orchestra on March 5th. On April 2nd, I will be playing Hypnosis by Ian Clarke with the Fort Dodge Area Symphony. Right now I am working on an audition for the National Flute Association’s collegiate flute choir.

Why did you choose the Dept. of Music and Theatre at ISU?
I chose to come to Iowa State because I knew I would be surrounded by so many talented musicians! But the main reason I chose to come to Iowa State is because Sonja Giles is the sweetest person and such a great and encouraging flute professor.

What are your plans after graduation?
My plans after graduation are to continue my education in flute performance.

Any words of wisdom for prospective students?
Some words of wisdom I have for prospective students are to "let your actions reflect your hopes and not your fears." Never let fear of failing keep you from trying your best.
