ISU Department of Music and Theatre celebrates student summer success

AMES, Iowa— Students of the Iowa State University Department of Music and Theatre spent the summer gaining professional experience through a wide variety of jobs, internships, and performance opportunities across the country. Highlights from the summer include:

  • Fiona Addy, sophomore performing arts major: Performer, 48 Hour Film Project
  • Annika Baker, senior performing arts major: Finalist, Bill Riley Talent Search at the Iowa State Fair
  • Macey Brackin, senior performing arts major: Props Designer, Pyramid Theater Company
  • Bobbie Buie, junior performing arts and English major: Stage Crew Apprentice, Santa Fe Opera
  • Valentine Chenus, senior performing arts and environmental science major: Living History Performer, Northern Tier High Adventure
  • Rylee Foreman, junior performing arts major: Lighting and Sound Intern, Calumet Theatre
  • Jarod Hart, junior music education and composition major: Composer and Music Director, Judge Story’s Theatrical Troupe
  • Zach Hodgson, senior performing arts major: Assistant Technical Director, Clinton Area Showboat Theatre
  • Hunter Khongmaly, junior vocal music education major: Orchestra Management Intern, Des Moines Metro Opera
  • Brook Mattingly, sophomore music major: Performer, Tallgrass Theatre Company
