The Ames Piano Quartet just returned from performing in the Maverick Concerts music series in breathtaking Woodstock, New York. This talented ensemble continuously brings together the timeless beauty of the piano, violin, viola, and cello to create a magical symphony of sound. The Boston Musical Intelligencer Blog gave the Quartet amazing reviews and stated "Their (Ames Piano Quartet) flawless ensemble playing was infused with a sort of Midwestern solidity—virtuosic, but not at all flashy. In particular, Mei-Hsuan Huang, the pianist, conveyed an irresistible energy." We could not agree more!
