Dr. Janci Bronson, Class Piano and Piano Pedagogy teaching professor at Iowa State University, has created a virtual piano education channel to support learning in group piano and/or private lessons. These videos cover topics from beginning keyboard technique to harmonization and improvisation. Dr. Bronson also discusses music theory and history and demonstrates learning techniques with famous piano repertoire. The education channel is a video resource sponsored by the “Miller Open Education Mini-Grant Program,” that supports free and open access learning.
Piano level 1 instructional videos are currently available on Dr. Bronson’s YouTube channel. Level 2 videos will be developed soon and released for the spring semester.
