What were you involved in during your time at ISU? Acting, Directing, and Set Building
What do you currently do for a living? HS English and Drama teacher and director.
How did your time at ISU prepare you for your career? It taught me how to appreciate an ensemble and inspire a respect for theatre in my students.
What was your favorite experience in music or theatre at ISU? Late nights working with my peers in the 21/40 classroom experimenting with theatre.
How was your involvement in music and theatre beneficial in different parts of your life? Not only do I teach but I cofounded a theatre company and have acted with numerous professional theatres in the area. But more than that, it taught me to value process over product and collaboration over accolades.
