The Symphony Orchestra performs their first concert of the season. Please note the concert is in the Howe Hall Atrium.
The performance with the DM Gamers Symphony Orchestra is on Friday October 14, 7:30pm, in the atrium of Howe Hall (Aerospace Engineering). We've got a combined orchestra of over 100 people plus choir to do music from Hollow Knight, Mass Effect, Donkey Kong, Pokémon, League of Legends, Skyrim, Banjo Kazooie, the Witcher and Super Mario. The concert is entirely family-friendly, and it's free.

The Wind Ensemble performs their first concert of the season in Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall. The concert will include the epic "The Frozen Cathedral" by John Mackey and works by Julie Giroux, Michael Markowski, Malcolm Arnold, and the Iowa premiere of Stacy Garrop’s “The Battle for the Ballot” with narrator Logan TeKolste.
$5 tickets will be available at the door before the concert. Cash or check only.
Senior, Mary Dratz, presents a bassoon recital in Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall.
“34th Organists of Iowa” concert - Dr. Charles Barland, guest organist (University of Dubuque) sponsored by the Sukup Manufacturing Co. of Sheffield, Iowa.
Charles Barland was appointed director of the University of Dubuque Choir in 2002 and served as director until 2018. Currently he is Professor of Music and University Organist at the University of Dubuque in Dubuque, Iowa.
Iowa State University bands Symphonic Band and Concert Band perform in Ames City Auditorium.
