The timeless story of Shakespeare’s “Romeo and Juliet” has received various treatments ranging from British actor John Gieldgud to Italian opera producer Franco Zeffirelli to American film star Leonardo DiCaprio. Join Jazz ONE, under the direction of Michael Giles, for a night of thrilling music cut from this cloth. The big band will play works from contemporary composers, which premiered just a few years ago on a project by the University of Northern Colorado jazz program. A jazz quartet will play themed pieces intermittently, offering an evening of gorgeous works present

ISU Theatre’s “Iowa Odyssey (Or How We Got to Here)” has been selected to be performed at the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival Region 5.
