Raising Treble Voices Festival: May 2, 2026

The first annual Raising Treble Voices Festival will bring together six central Iowa treble voice choirs and the ISU orchestra and feature a joint performance of It Is Happiness, a choral suite of poems by Mary Oliver by renowned composer Joan Szymko. Choirs from Waukee, Waukee NW, and Webster City High Schools will join the ISU Cantamus and Lyrica treble ensembles and Ames women’s choir, Good Company. Each choir will have a solo set and composer Joan Szymko will be in residence.

Admission is $15 for the general public. ISU students and youth under 18 are free. Tickets are available at the Stephens Ticket Office. Ticket office hours are Tuesday-Friday 11am – 4pm and 90 minutes before show time. To purchase tickets online, click here.
