DESCRIPTION:Thelonious Monk shattered the dogmatic notions of jazz composit
 ion and improvisation.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;His writing was unconventional\, his b
 andleading was unique\, and his soloing was unorthodox.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;Despi
 te all of these differences\, he is one of the most revered jazz musicians
  in the history of the art form.&nbsp\;&nbsp\;jazzONE and the ISU Jazz Com
 bos will dedicate a full concert to his music\, featuring treatments by Mi
 ho Hazama\, John Fedchock\, John Clayton\, Oliver Nelson\, Paul Motian\, O
 z Noy\, and Wynton Marsalis.Admission is $10 for the general public. ISU s
 tudents and youth under 18 are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door
