DESCRIPTION:Ned McGowan (1970) is a American-Dutch composer\, flutist\, res
 earcher and teacher\, living in Amsterdam\, the Netherlands. Known for rhy
 thmical vitality and technical virtuosity\, his music has won awards and b
 een performed at Carnegie Hall\, Concertgebouw and Purcell Room and other 
 halls and festivals around the world by many orchestras\, ensembles and so
 loists. As a flutist he plays classical\, contemporary and improvisation c
 oncerts internationally and he has a special love for the contrabass flute
 .The concert on February 26\, 7:30pm\, features Ned’s compositions perfo
 rmed both by him and his collaborator\, Gregory Oakes. The energy\, humor\
 , and virtuosity of his music is something special. Make sure to come expe
