ISU SYMPHONY will perform “Scheherezade” Op. 35 by Rimsky Korsakow:

1. The Sea and Sinbad’s Ships
2. The Story of the Kalendar Prince
3. The Young Prince and the Young Princess
4. Festival at Baghdad — The Sea — The Ship Goes to Pieces on a Rock Surmounted by a Bronze Warrior — Conclusion

We will have two guest soloists: 

Shelby VanNordstrand, Soprano,- “Quando me’n vo’ soletta” aria from La Boheme By Giacomo Puccini

Chad  Sonka, Bariton - "Votre Toast (Toréador)” aria from Carmen by George Bizet

Together they will perform "Widow Scene" ("Help Me, Man of God") from Elijah by Mendelssohn

Admission is $10 for the general public. ISU students and youth under 18 are free. Tickets can be purchased at the door prior to the performance.
