Charles Mingus was a whirlwind of talent and creativity – a prolific composer, an agile bassist, and a fearless bandleader.  Jazz ONE and the ISU Jazz Combos present a sampling of the works by this musical giant, songs made famous from both his small group sessions and the legacy carried forth by the Mingus Big Band.   Join us for Jazz Night : the music of Charles Mingus on February 23^rd @ 7:30 in the Martha-Ellen Tye Recital Hall.
