The Chamber Orchestra, in collaboration with the Christian Petersen Museum, will present two performances of the Bach Ricercata à 6 Voci from Das Musikalische Opfer (arr. Anton Webern), in the exhibition space at 6:30pm on Friday October 23, and again at the same time, Saturday October 24.  This will be a “Surround Sound” experience, with musicians distributed (distanced) throughout the space, the repertoire and the physical configuration both part of the orchestra’s artistic response to the pandemic, and the current exhibition.

The Museum, located in Morrill Hall, is allowing no more than 15 audience for either concert. The performance will last no more than 30 minutes, including introductory remarks from the curatorial and educational staff of the museum. Following the performance guests are invited to view the exhibits.

There is no charge for any of the performances.
