Jazz Night – For Lover’s Only 

Still feeling amorous after Valentine’s Day? Bring that special someone with you to hear some of the finest jazz students on campus. The ISU Jazz Combos sets the table with their own twist on tunes from the seductive icon Prince, the wacky B-52s, Motown legend Marvin Gaye, and a few classic love anthems from the jazz standard repertoire. Jazz 2.0 seals the deal with a swinging blues from trombone giant Slide Hampton, a feel-good bossa from the iconic drummer Louie Bellson, a jazz classic expertly arranged by Alan Baylock, and a classic torch song featuring guest vocalist Janet Alcorn. The show starts @ 7:30 in the Martha-Ellen Tye recital hall with a $5 admission charge at the door.
