ISU Symphony Orchestra

Dr. Jacob Harrison leads the 80-member ISU Symphony Orchestra in a narrated program designed to educate as well as entertain. Students will learn about the various instrument families, explore basic music concepts, feel the excitement of a full symphony orchestra, enjoy the emotions inspired by the music, and discover that putting teamwork and practice together can yield amazing results. Following the performance, meet the musicians in the lobby for an “instrument petting zoo,” an opportunity to see and hear the instruments up close!
