Count Me In (CMI) is a treble-voice a cappella ensemble that draws from existing ISU ensembles. The repertoire consists of a wide variety of popular music, some written for a cappella groups and some our own arrangements. The group is student-led/faculty-advised with a team of student leaders that audition, balance, rehearse, and choreograph pieces. Repertoire is suggested by all the singers.

CMI performs on the ISU campus and around the central Iowa region. In 2024, they were selected to compete in the International Competition for Collegiate A Cappella (ICCA) quarterfinal round. They have been featured at the Iowa Events Center in Des Moines, at the MAX Ames music festival, and at numerous campus events including high-profile ceremonies.

Auditions are normally held in the fall semester during the first week of classes. Look for signage in Music Hall or contact Dr. Rodgers for additional information.
