The jazz ensembles at Iowa State play exciting repertoire in a positive environment, pairing like-minded individuals in settings that challenge your musicianship.  Members of these groups regularly receive professional instruction and unique performance opportunities.  Creative programming balances traditional repertoire, modern music, swing band sets, and current compositional trends.  Off-campus concerts include split-shows with talented high school groups, regional festivals, and university honor events.  On-campus performances happen in the Martha-Ellen Tye recital hall, outfitted with a state-of-the-art live recording setup operated by sound engineers to broadcast our shows through our live webcast.
