Street Scene description:
In an epic collaboration with ISU Opera Studio and Symphony Orchestra, youthful desire, forbidden love, and brutal vengeance simmer to an explosion in the diverse melting pot of a 1940s New York City tenement. Soaring operatic arias and duets rub shoulders with jazz and the jitterbug. This majestic production won Best Original Score at the 1947 Tony Awards. You can listen to the entire show at this
