What to Prepare?:

The most important thing is your schedule to fill out the rehearsal form. The auditions will include group movement work, cold readings of monologues from the play, and a prepared question. Your answer can be as personal or simple as you wish and you will only need to answer one. Possible questions are:

  • What is your favorite food? Why?
  • What is your favorite dessert? How often do you eat dessert?
  • Would you consider yourself to be overweight?
  • Have you ever tried to lose weight? If so, what is the most extreme thing you have ever done to try to lose weight?
  • Have you ever made fun of someone for being overweight?
  • Are you happy with your body size?
  • Whom do you consider to have an ideal body?
  • How do you feel about healthy foods like salads and vegetables?
  • Do you feel the need to be thin? If so, why?
