THE MERZ TRIO (Lee Dionne, piano; Brigid Coleridge, violin; Julia Yang, cello) enthralled audiences as part of Ames Town & Gown's 2020-21 online season. Since then, they have added the prestigious 2021 Naumburg Chamber Music Award to their impressive list of prizes and honors. We are delighted to welcome them to Ames for this in-person performance on March 22. Their program — thematically titled "Undiluted Days" — includes Schubert's Piano Trio in E-flat major, "Undiluted" by American composer Jeffrey Mumford, and the Trio's own unique arrangements of vocal works from various eras.
