Concert Venues
Martha Ellen Tye Recital Hall seats 300 in an ideal
acoustic environment for live instrumental/vocal performance with electronics.
Amplification of acoustic instruments is normally not required. The built-in
8.1 loudspeaker array is by Meyer Sound. Speaker positions are 0, 45,
90, 135, 180, 225, 270, and 315 degrees. The LFE is one-channel to two
speakers at 45 and 135 degrees. All non-LFE speakers are double, angled
for direction to both near and distant points. To this system is added
two on-stage speakers. Video projection is built-in, projected to above-stage
screen (bottom approx. 7' above stage floor).
Music Hall 130 provides ramped seating for 200,
with installed video projection with a surround speaker array brought
in for the conference (Genelec).
Music Hall 102 provides seating for 300, with installed
video projection speakers .
