ISU Cyclone Football
Composed of over 300 student members, the Iowa State University Cyclone
Football "Varsity" Marching Band is a vital part of the action of Big
XII football. Known for their polished and energetic approach to halftime
entertainment, the Cyclone Marching Band marches in a variety of styles
to sizzling musical arrangements -- performing a variety of different
shows over the course of the season. Each year our athletic bands perform before over a half-million people, including the fans who regularly pack Jack Trice Stadium. Recent performances have also included the EV1.net Bowl, the Independence Bowl in Shreveport (twice), the Humanitarian Bowl in Boise, the Eddie Robinson Classic in Kansas City, and the Insight.com Bowl in Phoenix. Through rehearsals, travel, and the excitement of marching in front of thousands of cheering fans, the members of our Cyclone Marching Band share rich experiences that create social as well as musical bonds. Like all bands at Iowa State University, the Cyclone Marching Band is open to all students, regardless of major. Interested in becoming a special part of the ISUCF'V'MB?
