Cyclone Color Guard Academy
The Cyclone Color Guard Academy is a great opportunity for students of all experience levels to work with outstanding educators and experts in the field of color guard. The camp is held on the campus of Iowa State University from June 16-17. Early in our camp, students will be separated into groups based on skill level and will be introduced to varying levels of dance, bodywork, silk work, and possibly weapon.
The goal of our camp is to both educate and inspire high school students to return and be leaders in their programs. The head instructors for this camp are Theresa Birch–our Iowa State University color guard instructor and Annie Pelka–Caption Head of the Phantom Regiment Drum & Bugle Corps. Our two instructors will be joined by both local and national experts in the field.
Registration and fees for this camp are $60, which covers all instruction, lunch on Saturday, and a camp t-shirt. Housing is available at $45/night, which you will be able to indicate in your registration. To register for this camp, click here!
