ISU Cyclone Football "Varsity" Marching Band

Composed of over 340 student members, the Iowa State University Cyclone Football "Varsity" Marching Band is a vital part of the action of Big 12 football. Known for their polished and energetic approach to halftime entertainment, the Cyclone Marching Band marches in a variety of styles to exciting musical arrangements -- performing a variety of different shows over the course of the season.

Each year our athletic bands perform before over a half-million people, including the fans who regularly pack Jack Trice Stadium. The band's past performances include The Pinstripe Bowl, Insight Bowl, Independence Bowl, and Humanitarian Bowl. Through rehearsals, travel, and the excitement of marching in front of thousands of cheering fans, the members of our Cyclone Marching Band share rich experiences that create social as well as musical bonds. Like all bands at Iowa State University, the Cyclone Marching Band is open to all students, regardless of major.
