What is your favorite area of musical involvement? I love Marching Band. I love the atmosphere of it, how everyone is working toward one goal and everyone visibly contributes to the success of the entire group.

What interests you about TBΣ? I am interested in TBS because I want to contribute as much to the band as possible. I loved being in Leadership team at my high school and contributing to the behind the scenes of the band and I thought that TBS would be a good way for me to contribute to the ISUCFVMB.

Tell us something we don't know about you. I come from a big family so I love being around people. But when I first meet people I am rather shy until I have been around the person for a little bit then I open up and become outgoing.

What's your favorite band memory? I have so many great memories from band it is crazy hard to choose just one, but the memory that really validated my love for band and makes me smile is when my high school took a trip to London my junior year for their 25th annual New Year's Day Parade which is about the equivalent in England as the Rose Bowl Parade is here, over a million people were watching on the parade route and on TV. So when we got to the start and were surrounded by other marching bands from all over the world waiting to step off, I was really nervous. The two and a half mile parade went well then we got to the TV part. We had to stand at attention for 5 minutes before marching on camera which did not help my nerves at all. But as the announcers were introducing our band they said "This is one of the finest bands to have graced this parade, It is the Downers Grove North Trojan Marching Band!" I do not remember much of the actual performance because it was an adrenalin rushed blur I just know that when we hit our final set and the confetti cannons went off and the crowd was on their feet cheering I was smiling my head off because I was so proud of the band and how far we had all come to accomplish something that big on a global level.
