With a unique double snare system, independently switchable snares on the bottom and top heads, the MTS provides a more distinct sound than ever before available in a marching drum. Developed in cooperation with the top drum corps, universities and pipe bands, the MTS snare drum combines the musical advantages of multiple timbres with outstanding playability and superior response at all dynamic levels. Tenors 8200 Series Field-Corp Multi-Toms Yamaha's Field-Corps multi-toms deliver a pure, focused tone that is maximized by a deeper, more balanced set of multi-toms. These toms are equipped with a lug that utilizes an arch-shape design which allows the shell to vibrate freely thus delivering greater tone. The Field-Corps multi-toms are also equipped with a 2.3mm thick, steel UltraHoop™ rim that is specially designed by Yamaha. Its profile protects the bearing edge from mallet sweeps, which is especially important as the rim height lowers as the drumhead stretches. We carry our tenors using Field-Corps Alumi-Vest Carriers We play our tenors using Promark Mike Stevens. Bass Drums MB-8200 Series Field-Corps Bass Drums Designed for top marching programs, Field-Corps bass drums provide a deep, resonant tone, and forceful attack. From the focused tone of the smallest size at 14 inch to the thunderous boom of the largest model at 32 inch, these bass drums are versatile enough for both indoor and outdoor marching percussion activities. We carry our basses using Field-Corps Aluminum Tubular Carriers We play our basses using Promark Outdoor and Indoor Mallets.
