Cantamus
ISU Choirs

Welcome to Cantamus Women's Choir, directed by Kathleen Rodde. The Cantamus Women's Choir was created in 2000, and is one of four major choral ensembles at Iowa State University. The women of Cantamus are selected by audition and range in year from freshmen to graduate students. Though the women come from many fields of study across campus, they all share in an enthusiasm for new and challenging repertoire, and a love for adventurous programming. Cantamus annually presents a six-concert season, which includes a tour and a choral-orchestral Masterworks Concert. The ensemble rehearses three times a week and music majors comprise 15% of its membership. In 2004 Cantamus was selected to give solo performances for the ACDA North Central Division Convention and the MENC National Convention.
