Associate Professor of Music, Emeritus
For forty-one years, Dr. Kevin Schilling taught oboe, bassoon, theory, chamber music and served as the Advising Coordinator at Iowa State. He earned both the Master of Music and Doctor of Music in oboe performance at Indiana University. With colleague Lynn Zeigler he played oboe, baroque oboe, and bassoon in the duo "Basically Baroque" which performed in Germany, at International Double Reed Society Conferences, around the state of Iowa as part of the Iowa Arts Council's "Arts to Go" program, as well as in several other state. He continues to enjoy private teaching oboe and bassoon students as well as staying active as a performer.
