Music 248 - Technology in Music InstructionDescriptionMusic 248A is an introductory course in the use of a standard music workstation, computer lab, servers, and the internet, for preparation of media used in teaching music. There will be four units of study:
Music 248A will combine lectures, instructor-supervised in-class labs, and unit projects. All unit projects and the final project require presentations, participation in discussion, and inclusion in a final portfolio. Spring 2008 (current) projects are here. Special Advisory concerning former section B (Spring 2007 M/W 4:10). 248B has been changed to Music 246. Those students needing 246 for a minor in music technology (proposed) may substitute 248B from Spring 2007 or 348x from Spring 2006 |
